Based on the Energy Law, as well as the Rules for Electricity Supply and the 2021 Programme for Protection of Vulnerable Electricity Supply Customers, the obligations of the Operator of the Distribution System (Elektrodistribucija) and of the Universal Service Supplier (EVN Home) have been set in terms of the treatment of customers belonging to the category of vulnerable customers of electricity services.
Namely, for a customer to be entered into the vulnerable customer records, they are required to submit Certificate or Decision from the Social Work Center certifying that they are beneficiaries of guaranteed minimal state air or social allowances for elderly persons to the competent Customer Energy Center (CEC) and to fill out a request for entry into the records of vulnerable electricity services customer and to be granted protective measures.
By submitting the certificate above, customers will be able to use one or several measures aimed towards protecting vulnerable customers.
