EVN Macedonia Group continues its commitment to the long-term company strategies for environmental protection through mass volunteering within the framework of the environmental campaign "General Weekend 2025".
Around 150 employees replaced their work activities with a waste collection action in different cities: Skopje, Gevgelija, Bitola, Gostivar, Prilep, Kochani, Kavadarci, and Kichevo. The goal is that employees directly contribute to a cleaner and healthier environment, while for every 10kg of waste, one tree will be planted.
The Management Board of EVN Macedonia also joined the volunteering environmental action.
“One of our main purposes is that EVN as a responsible company, continuously contributes to a cleaner tomorrow for our future generations. We are committed to making a positive impact in the sectors we operate in: energy production, distribution and sales.
We are very proud of our employees who are participating in this action today and showing that they are also taking care of a cleaner and healthier environment.” said the CEO of EVN Macedonia, Mr. Wolfgang Maier.
EVN has been continuously implementing various volunteering actions for many years, with 58 actions implemented so far and over 700 volunteers.
