Amid energy crisis, which directly affects the consumption and prices of electricity, EVN, as a socially responsible company that cares for the customers, continues with educational activities to raise awareness of energy efficiency.
In line with this, a new educational campaign "Energy worth consuming is energy worth saving" was launched, which aims to inform and educate customers about the ways to rationalize the consumption of electricity, as well as to reduce costs in households and better apply energy efficiency amid crisis.
Through the campaign, customers could be educated about how to make and implement an energy saving plan in the home. The plan involves analyzing the consumption of the devices, developing a combination of measures such as replacing the devices that consume the most with more efficient ones or changing the behavior and monitoring of savings in the electricity bill or smart devices. Within the campaign, the customers were also informed about the new tariff system, as a new model on the market, the purpose of which is to encourage energy efficiency and rational use of electricity.
The videos were broadcast on all national and local televisions in the country, as well as on social media and YouTube. The educational campaign "Energy worth consuming is energy worth saving" was also present in the press, on radios and information portals. A website has also been developed that integrates all the multimedia content, tools and information shared within the campaign.
The company launched the Energy Efficiency Platform back in 2012 and it continuously conducts educational activities through practical examples for customers in order to raise awareness of ways to save electricity. In the interest of customers, EVN will continue with these activities in the future.
